Jennifer Allen, Master of Divinity and MFT S/T

I am Jennifer a native of Northern California and have been in Atlanta, GA since 2007. I have a Master of Divinity (Pastoral Counseling) from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and a Marriage and Family Graduate Certificate from Argosy University. I have been doing Pastoral Counseling for over 10 years and Mental Health Counseling for over 5 years. I have specialized training in couples and family therapy, conflict transformation, grief, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) counseling.

I specialize in helping teens, young adults, and elders with life transitions like empty nesters, newly married, new mothers’ postpartum depression, newly divorced, family reunification, single parents’ challenges, and the bereaved who have lost loved ones to death or conflict. I take a person-centered, family systems structuralist, solutions-focused, emotionally focused, positive approach to supporting clients’ healing journeys.
